During their senior year, our students learn and work directly with nurses in the hospital as they earn their preceptorship hours. This provides students with a thorough understanding of the nurses’ roles and responsibilities, as well as the opportunity to form meaningful relationships with elderly patients. This allows our students to feel fully comfortable in their role by the time of graduation.
Dr. Paulette McClain is in her 18th year serving as an Associate Professor at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University.
