Advancing Dementia Care Through Specialized Training

Committed to promoting healthy aging within the geriatric community, we are excited to introduce a series of Dementia Training & Family Workshops.

Led by Carol Bailey, R.N., an expert in dementia care who specializes in training caregivers, we are pleased to offer these invaluable workshops and training sessions free of charge to healthcare providers, furthering our mission to enhance care through education and support.

Comprehensive Education and Continuing Education Credits

Bailey’s workshops are approved for 1-4 hours of continuing education credits by various boards, including the Louisiana State Nurses Association, the National Association for Social Workers, the Louisiana State Board for Licensed Nursing Facility Administrators, the Louisiana Certification Registry for Health Ancillary Professionals and the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals

With plans to expand approvals to include physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists by early 2025, these workshops are designed to meet the needs of a wide range of healthcare professionals.
