About Gerontology at FranU
Gero at FranU is a university initiative dedicated to providing Baton Rouge with relevant, up-to-date information regarding healthy aging practices and activities. We work to change the perception of aging and promote independent living within the geriatric community while acting as the authoritative voice for our state.
A dedicated team of professionals developed Gerontology at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University to provide the university community and Baton Rouge with cutting-edge information resources for healthy aging.
We are dedicated to providing faculty and students with the opportunities and resources needed for professional development and top-level gerontological education experiences.
To fulfill our goal of creating an informed, well-educated community with access to healthy aging resources, we connect with the community through several programs.
